Dr. Jack Oates has been setting the highest standard of excellence in orthodontics for over 30 years! Dr. Oates attended the University of California at Berkeley for his undergraduate degree in Biology and earned his dental degree from the University of California at San Francisco. He earned his Certificate of Orthodontics from the University of California at Los Angeles and completed additional training at the Foundation for Advanced Research and Training in Augusta, Georgia.

Dr. Oates is Board Eligible for the American Board of Orthodontics. He stays on the cutting edge of the latest advancements in orthodontics by participating in continuing education courses and maintaining memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, California Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Spears’ Learning Group for Interdisciplinary Treatment.

Dr. Oates gives back to the community by actively participating in Smiles for Kids and the Sacramento District Dental Foundation. In his leisure time, he enjoys tennis, downhill snow skiing, waterskiing, camping, archery, upland bird hunting, fishing and spending time with his daughter.
